Along the curves carved by the Monlignée River in an unique scenery dominated by the Montaigne castle ruins, you will reach Falaën through the Molignée Valley: landmarks will gently guide you to the Condroz plateau where the village lies.
Located on both sides of a small and shallow valley of the Molignee and Floyon, the village is characterized by a dense gray limestone habitat from which emerges the church tower and the three towers of the Castle-farm. The heart of the village revolves around the church square and reveals thirty traditional houses, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, with features typical of Condroz architecture.
