Nestling on a hillside, Fagnolle is a little village of limestone and slate. Having preserved its 18th-century homogeneity, it is typical of a contiguous implantation.
The existing empty spaces were filled in with the houses of the working-class population of the 19th century and of the town-dwellers later. Fagnolle is a fine example of a mixed village typical of the Namur Fagne region.
